I am sending you this email because you or someone you love is going with the bsm to Hawaiian Falls on Saturday, August 18. If you feel like you have received this email in error, please respond to rrainey@thebranch.org and let me know.
We are leaving from the Vista Ridge Campus at 1pm on Saturday.
If you didn't pay when you registered online please bring cash for your ticket ($25). If you must pay by check, please make it out to THE BRANCH.
We are staying until 10pm, when the park closes. We should be back at the Vista Ridge Campus by 10:30pm.
If you are not riding with the bsm, either there or back, please text (2147249568) or email me right now and let me know your plans. I am asking that all students check in and out with the bsm staff.
Sunscreen is your friend. Bring a towel and wear a modest swimsuit.
We have a rented pavilion at Hawaiian Falls. That will be our headquarters all day. One of the bsm staff members will be at the pavilion all day. Feel free to call us if anything is needed. Brooke Johnson's # is 9038803768. Kyle Poff's # is 2144370240. Ryan's # is 2147249568.
Personal items (towels, shoes, etc.) can be left at the pavilion, but the bsm staff will not be watching possessions. Bring possessions into the park at your own risk.
Your ticket will not only get you in the park, but it will get you a "drink bracelet" that gets you unlimited drinksall day. You will also be fed one meal at 5pm (hamburgers and fries, dessert). We will be bringing a few snacks for everyone as well (cookeis and chips). If you feel like this is not enough food, please plan accordingly and bring some extra cash.
In case of bad weather we will gather everyone at the pavilion and then decide an exit strategy IF NEEDED. Watch for bsm text messages if weather looks "iffy". You can receive bsm alerts by simply texting bsmvr to the number 41411.
